The inner layer is a super flexible lycra to enable a full range of movement. The outer layer is a classic board short cut. Complete with a robust elasticated waistband combined with a drawstring for extra comfort. Roll with total confidence and freedom. Featuring Italian ink sublimation in our custom-designed wave pattern that will never run or fade, and our strongest Lycra material we have ever produced.

House of Water is a Jiu Jitsu academy based in Long Jetty, NSW, dedicated to building skill, confidence, and community.
Founded by lifelong practitioners John and Brian, our gym offers classes for kids, teens, and adults of all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. With a balance of gi and no-gi training, open mats, and a focus on technical progression, House of Water is the place to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded people. More than just a gym, we’re creating a welcoming space where discipline meets fun, hard work meets friendship, and everyone is encouraged to roll, learn, and improve at their own pace.

The student of human movement himself, Professor Turbo Ultra Sensei John McAleer.
His passion is movement; his expression of that passion is Jiu Jitsu and other musings. His accumulation of Jiu Jitsu techniques is his most prized possession (apart from his family and friends) that he has now chosen to share with the people of Long Jetty.
House of Water is the vehicle for people to bask in his knowledge and have some of the best silly times they'll be able to recall

Breezey, The Breeze, The Easterly Wind, the hell raiser, raisin’ hell with the flavour!
Brian is not only one of the five greatest rappers of all time (the other four are Brian, Brian, Brian and Brian) but he is also the most fun coach and training partner you are ever gonna find. The mans on mat love language is sharing Jiu Jitsu tech. If you plan on asking him about a technique, you should first call your loved ones and tell them you’ll be home late cause you’re about to get lost in the sauce. I love Brian with my whole heart, and there’s no one I’d rather do this with.

Ashley Ela Cooper is a cybernetic organism, living tissue over a metal endoskeleton sent from the future to protect John and Brian from trash designs... Passionate, driven, and an absolute force of nature, she has been the backbone of House of Water. Without her, John and Brian would probably still be debating what colour mats to order. If its house of water related and you’ve seen it, watched it, worn it, clicked on it, liked it, shared it or had your eyeballs involved with it any way then that was Ash like Alfred in the batcave making sure everything stays slappin.

House of Water has become one of those Long Jetty places people build a trip around. We’re proud to say that training partners fly in from across Australia and all over the world. No matter if you’re here for a week or a season, the mats are open, and you are welcome to roll with the tide.

This isn’t a Jiu Jitsu school that happens to be in Long Jetty. Long Jetty is a part of the pitch.
